i’m always looking for opportunities to expand my practice alongside writing, particularly through incorporating music, visual art and film into my projects

i have facilitated a number of workshops, discussions and projects, most notably whilst working as the editor of Noises Off for the National Student Drama Festival and the convenor of ‘Write n Bite’, an informal writing community in Bristol

i am actively looking to expand my facilitation practice, and welcome enquiries or conversations for collaboration

i have experience directing both new writing and classics, in addition to collaborating with directors of other mediums (such as film and musical theatre). i also have experience of intimacy coordination

recently, i was invited to direct for troubadour stagework’s summer season of work, which included a REP company’s performance of Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing and new writing piece In The Stones

my academic research focuses on postmodern performance practice; i am especially interested in the relationship between writers and performers, with a view to empower marginalised bodies through radical experimental methodology

i have presented on my research and creative practice in various contexts, including the European Theatre Convention Conference in Prague.

i have dramaturged on a number of productions, and particularly enjoy working on new writing which explores queerness, feminism, disability and community
